Kerry Millar has been working in the finance industry for 25 years. Commencing with the Commonwealth Bank in 1985 she moved into financial planning from general banking in 1994. Since then she has been employed as a financial adviser with some of Australia's largest dealer groups. She completed her Diploma of Financial Planning in 1997 through Deakin University as well as a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Professional Accounting through James Cook University in 2007. Kerry also holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner through the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Kerry is involved in all areas of financial planning but particularly enjoys working with pre and post retirees. Born and raised in Townsville she moved her family to Brisbane in 2008 and is really enjoying all Brisbane has to offer. Kerry believes that obtaining good financial advice plays a vital part in achieving financial freedom. She finds great satisfaction in guiding her clients through the labyrinth of decisions, products and strategies available to help them achieve a happy and financially secure life. Kerry feels that financial planning is primarily about educating people on their options and helping them to realise their financial goals.
